TV Globo Licenses Interra's Baton QC Solution

CUPERTINO, California - August 19, 2014

Interra Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that TV Globo, Brazil has decided to use its automated content verification product Baton in its workflow.

“Baton allowed us to mitigate production errors by providing us with deeper analysis of our content files. The reports are an important tool that add value and reliability to our products. I would also like to point out the good work of Interra's support engineers, who were very important in our implementation process,” said Ana Carolina Beaklini of TV Globo Technologies, Brazil.

"Our Baton solution allows companies to verify content across multiple stages in their file based workflows. Baton has emerged as the preferred tool for ensuring content readiness in set ups that handle large quantities of content. Baton is particularly suited for ensuring uniformity across various stages like ingest, transcode and archiving. We hope our Baton solution will help TV Globo deliver better customer experiences in its markets," commented Juanchy Mejia, Sales Director for Southeast U.S. & Latin America at Interra Systems, Inc.

Baton® is a multi-platform, automated content verification system for file-based SD, HD, and mixed workflows. Supporting a wide range of codecs and media containers, Baton ensures quality control of media content before playout. Baton is highly flexible and can be quickly scaled for large facilities or high volumes of content. As a hardware and O/S independent solution, Baton can be easily integrated in a facility's existing infrastructure.
